As many of you may know, the Executive Board has confirmed that there are a large number of financial irregularities with the association's finances. We have to reconcile our taxes with the IRS and we need to restore financial stability to the association. The books are a disaster.
In order to to this, we need to elect people that are willing and prepared to tackle this important issue. Sadly, many of the former presidents were aware of this problem and elected to do nothing. When these issues were raised, instead of acting, they did nothing. We need new blood.
Thankfully we have Joe Padilla. He is a man of intense integrity and if we want to save the association, we need to elect him. There is no alternative.
Please join me and others in saving the association and restoring our financial footing. When you think about the fact that over the last ten years, we have taken in over five-million dollars and all we own is a pencil sharpener, there is a problem. And, to worsen things, we are in trouble with the IRS and we have to get out of that situation.
Let's elect Joe Padilla. He'll lead us out of the muck and mire.
