Help - I am trying to save some testing time. Has anyone used the Leica GRZ4 360 Prism with a Trimble S6/S7? Did you encounter any problems?

Thanks,

No problems at all - just make sure that you set up you prism offset correctly in your data collector.

Thanks. We are testing it today for verification of alignment and PPM (-11.3 mm calc)

Don't forget Leica's super special prism correction of +34.4mm onto whatever is stated on the (non-Leica) prism.... (Or vice versa in your case)

That's how we came up with the -11.3 calculated PPM. Our testing will verify this or correct it !

Yes we use them, they work good. I line up the arrow (front or back) if alignment is critical. -11.3mm is the PC we use. They seem to be fairly nodal, watch the DC when twisting the prism back and forth, angle doesn't change very much. I also use Leica style prisms with -34.4mm PC.

We write the actual PC on the prism housing somewhere.
