I wanted to let everyone know there were a couple of articles with the author misidentified in the last issue of California Surveyor Magazine. I'll make sure the authors get proper credit in the editorial for the next issue, and I apologize for the mistake.
I'm working to assemble the Spring 2017 content now. Please let me know if you'd like to contribute an article, and I'll send over the submission guidelines.
Thanks for your support!
Landon

Hi, You can use some of the historical articles I have published from "Lay of The Land." Are you interested?
I also have some articles from "The History of San Diego Land Surveying Experiences" I wrote with Curt Brown.

We certainly can. If you let me know what article you want to print for the Spring Issue, I'll take care of the rest.

I picked up the latest copy from my P.O. Box yesterday. You've been a very busy boy Landon! I'll see if I can get something put together for the Spring or Summer issues.
Was there a call for submissions featured prominently somewhere in this issue. I only had time to leaf through quickly to see what the feature articles were, hoping to have more time to read it this weekend.
I think that putting out a regular, recurring call for submissions at Chapter meetings and through the various media available to CLSA is a good idea, at least until you get several people making regular submissions. Also, many state society magazines/newsletters will get permission to republish a particularly good article appearing in another's publication. Have you been in contact with any of your counterparts of other states?
