Insurance

Looking for information on E and O insurance. Companies, normal deductibles, cost per year, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for the information.
I recommend doing a bit of shopping, but two agencies I've used and have been happy with are:
Assurance Risk Management, Inc. (http://www.arm-i.com/) Lisa Isom has been in the business for years, and has both E&O and general liability policies tailored for land surveyors.
Hall & Company (http://www.hallandcompany.com/). Though I've been using ARM in recent years, Hall & Company always provided good service and competitive pricing.
Cost is going to be dependent on the size of your operation and your business mix. I'm not sure how useful it is to compare numbers with other surveyors in this regard, but for what it's worth my most recent premium was $2,374.
