These guys work very hard for the profession. I am proud to be associated with them.

I agree with Mike. I was just joshing with them. (No offense to anyone named "Josh" out there.)

The May newsletter should be published in two weeks. The June newsletter should be on track and released the first week of July.

I found the article in the recent newsletter "Life without Work" (or similar) to be an interesting read. I always look forward to the attorney, James Anton, articles. The latest article did not disappoint.

The Practice Based Chapter headquartered in Orange County focus, publications and connection with their professional community is well worth the price of admission. They recently polled City Managers as to their contracting methodology (QBS) and payment schedules for professional services (prompt payment). I expect the results to be final and an article written in the early fall.

If you are a surveyor with similar professional direction and/or interests and you currently don't belong to a chapter or are unsatisfied with your current chapter, please consider joining the Practice Based Chapter headquartered in Orange County. Ideally, sign up before the end of June.
