Mariposa County is seeking an Eng Tech.-This position is within the Engineering/Survey Division of Public Works, and will be under the direction of the County Engineer and County Surveyor. This position will be likely be 75% engineering related and 25% surveying related. Small office work environment, joining a staff of 4. Position will include a wide range of duties, with a focus on CAD drafting of engineering plans, GIS applications, general engineering inspections, and assisting the Survey Tech with field surveys in support of Public Works and other County departments.

Mariposa County is geographical large and small in resident population, host to millions that visit Yosemite National Park Outdoor recreation is at the doorstep, yet the large Central Valley metro areas are with reasonable commute.
