Humboldt County PLS opportunity on surveying team at small growing firm, shareholder possibilities

Where is the work? Work will primarily originate in the Eureka office, but frequent interaction and personal travel to the other SHN offices will be required at times. Living and working in rural towns and cities is not for everyone, but benefits include highly ranked elementary and secondary schools, a nearby state university and community college, and acclaimed recreational opportunities. Humboldt County supports a thriving art community; local artists study at the world-renowned Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theater and created the Kinetic Sculpture Race.

Who is SHN? SHN (http://www.shn-engr.com) is a small business that incorporated in Eureka, California in 1979. Weathering recessions and natural disasters, we have grown to support offices in Eureka, Arcata, Willits, and Redding, California, and in Coos Bay and Klamath Falls, Oregon. Our surveyors work in many types of environments and conditions, for example performing boundary and subdivision surveys and bathymetric surveys. We work in remote uplands and in urban settings during construction of schools, hospitals, bridges and other critical infrastructure.
