Gilbert “Gil” Edgar Hayes. (LS 4700) passed away in his sleep on October 26, 2017 due to complications from cancer. He was 72, Gil worked for the Oakland Port Authority and recently served as City Surveyor for Oakland. Services will be held at Mountain View Cemetery this Saturday at 1:30, 5000 Piedmont Ave. Oakland.

My condolences go to Gil's family. I worked with him, for a while, at the Port. He will be missed.
