Ruggeri-Jensen-Azar (RJA), a well-established bay area surveying, planning, and civil engineering firm has multiple opportunities available in our Pleasanton and Gilroy offices. Our survey team performs a key role by providing vital support for our extensive Land Development services.
The ideal candidate for the Licensed Land Surveyor position will be a licensed professional land surveyor in California with a minimum of 5 years experience. As an essential member of our survey team, the representative duties will include: preparation of boundary and topographic surveys, coordination with clients and RJA’s project managers, coordination with the field crew supervisor for necessary field surveys, preparation of documents such as ALTA surveys, Final Maps, Parcel Maps, Record-of-Surveys, and related documents. GPS/field/office and AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing and forward-thinking firm.
Requirements for the Assistant Land Surveyor position include a BSSE (Bachelor of Science in Surveying Engineering) or equivalent and L.S.I.T. GPS/field/office experience is a plus. Must have the demonstrated abilities to work well in a team environment, meet deadlines, and work under minimal supervision. Proficiency with Civil 3D and Microsoft Office required.
