I'm teaching a class on business for land surveyors next week. I'd like to give credit during the class to the land surveyors (like Jay Seymour) that got me thinking about the business side of land surveying when I was just a pup.

I need help remembering the name of one of these surveyors. He is an active member of CLSA and regularly teaches at conferences. I went to a couple of his classes that discussed value pricing and why it is important to think about who is paying/versus benefiting from your work. I believe this surveyor owns a small practice in the northern part of the state.

I'm embarrassed that I can't remember his name. It has been a few years since I was in one of his workshops. I'd like to give him the recognition he deserves in my class. Let me know if you can help me with the name.

I did not "Meet" Paul until at least 10 years after I got my first license (by then I had and still do have 6) but I can say the discussions we had via the internet were usually some type of learning experience, hopefully for both of us.
