Railroad Curve

Don't know why I am such a problem calculating the these curves.
I am just missing something
Any help would be appreciated
The tracks are Northwest Pacific Rail Road, just North of Ukiah

These are Taper curves. you need to have the Taper Curve Tables to calculate.

with a 1 1/2 taper and 3d45' degree
90 foot, use the table to turn defections at 30 feet as show?

Generally the track is calculated as spiral tapers according the UPRR taper tables and track maps. The railroad right-of-ways are circular curves with that curve data available from the taper tables. I took me 20 years to figure this out. The attached PDF shows the calcs for both. The green lines are the tapers and the red lines are the R/W lines.
