Caldwell & Companies is a certified public accounting firm representing both business and individuals. William Caldwell, CPA, will explain the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) to the members of the California Land Surveyors Association during a Webinar on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM PST.

The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is the most sweeping tax reform since 1986. This webinar will focus on the highlights of TCJA. Participants will gain an understanding of how the legislation affects businesses as well as individuals. Topics include understanding your tax position, your business structure and maximizing deductions. It's not too late to make changes now that will benefit you for your 2018 tax return filings. I tell everyone I know to go on welfare - it pays better and the income is more steady. Plus, the health benefits are great!

I know someone that owns some rentals in the high desert area, rents them section 8 and these renters have incomes of $50k-$70k/year and try and sell drugs to his handyman when he is there fixing something.
