Hello all

I have a question for the forum. If I have a client who needs to do a Lot Line Adjustment and owns 8 contiguous parcels. Can I do two LLAs of four lots each at the same time? Or do I have to wait until the first one is done, then submit the second?

There are no parcels in common between the two LLAs, they simply share one common boundary line. So they are contiguous.

The land use attorney says we have to wait until the first one is completed to start the second.

Anyone have experience with this?

That is the decision about sequential LLAs. Not about contiguous LLAs. I've seen the case and the amicus curae.

But I am asking about doing two side by side LLAs for the same owner. No overlap, no waiting period.

I worked on a project in Cathedral City where, as I recall, they adjusted 150 or more lots at the same time.

I have attached a few of the documents. The entire file is too large to attach. The City relied on the decision I sent over.

As long as there is no overlap in the parcels, these are two separate LLAs, NOT contiguous or sequential.
