So I received an email today stating County Fees are going up!

All I can say is thank goodness I don't work in Napa Co.!!!

How can these fees be justified to their residents is all I can ask? I feel for you surveyors who have to explain this to your clients.
But then you can raise your fees to be more in line, and not look like your cheaper than the county, lol.
Hey Phil, your "Surveyor to Recorder" is looking better and better!

Public Works application fees, effective July 21, 2019, are as follows:

Unconditional/Conditional Certificate of Compliance $3000.00 (deposit)
Expedited Certificate of Compliance $463.40
Notice of Satisfaction of Conditions $284.08
Lot Line Adjustment $3,382.36
Voluntary Merger of Parcels $1799.81
Lot Line Adjustment & Record of Survey (Bundled) $3569.34
Record of Survey $899.32
Final Map Amendment $2011.57
Final Parcel Map $6778.87
Final Subdivision Map $6778.87

A new ordinance is proposed for Marin County Record of Survey fees to go through the roof.

How are these fees benefiting? When are we going to say "enough is enough"? Let's seek a remedy - like many other states (other than this Nanny State)

Surveyor to Recorder?!

Yep. Crazy Phil again - Sonoma

Why the weird cents amounts?
You can tell a bean counter did this, maybe to make people think they actually did some research to come up with these numbers.
