Caltrans is Hiring Surveyors

Transportation Surveyor (TS) is the entry level position in the TS series. Ranges A through C require an LSIT certificate, or a Bachelors Degree in Surveying, Surveying Engineering, or Geomatics Engineering. TS Range D and Transportation Surveyor Party Chief (TSPC) require the PLS. For those without the LSIT, PLS, or GIS qualifications, the Transportation Engineering Technician (TET) classification which is used in Land Surveys (and other) units is another option.
