Vortex Construction Marine, Inc. is seeking a motivated Hydrographer to join our team. The full-time/year-round position will involve hydrographic surveying mainly in California. Our hydrographic surveyors perform a range of tasks in both field and office.
Field Tasks will include:
• Multibeam and Singlebeam Hydrographic Survey
• GNSS Topographic Surveys
• Survey Vessel Mobilization
• ROV Operations
Office Tasks will include:
• Multibeam and Singlebeam Data Processing
• Dredge volume calculations
• AutoCAD Civil 3D
Vortex Construction marine, Inc. performs surveys for private and public agencies throughout California. We currently have a job with roughly 18 months duration in fun location of Santa Cruz mountain.
Candidates with small vessel and coastal waterways experience are preferred.

not that I would qualify, or even earn an interview, but Hydro work is very enjoyable.
Before I retired I was lucky enough to get into a number of projects, old tech.
The variety was awesome, the many locations leave fond memories, especially the Boundary complications we unearthed.
The New Tech would be a thrill!
