I have been working on a rather complicated water boundary case in Newport Harbor. Although this is not my case, I was dealing with the same issues and arguments. I had to located and reestablish some very old lines and agreements. In dealing with these older harbors, it requires familiarity with some old Army Corps maps and procedures.

Here is a good overview:

The case is a good example of the distinction between title and location - not to mention a flurry of procedural issues.

No kidding! This was confusing as the harbor lines had been adjusted and there was uncertainty as to what lines were being used and referred to.

It was an interesting project.

I have had similar problems in San Diego.
