Hello.

A young man who used to work for me has moved to Texas and is working for a city survey department there now is
interested in taking the national FS exam at some point. He doesn't have a lot of work experience yet. I'm guessing between
working for me and the City, he might have 6 months full time experience.

He asked me what books to recommend that he could study.

All my references are old, so I wanted to make sure I gave him current references.

Any advice?

Thanks.

I am sure someone who has actually recently taken the FS exam will have some good recommendations.

I always liked 1001 Solved Survey Problems by Van Sickle. It is out of print now but he does have:

Surveying Solved Problems for the FS and PS Exams. It looks like it is a 4th edition now.
