David is that the pass rate?
considering it's a machine graded multiple guess "exam" my wild ass guess is the percentage of "correct answers" is nebulous and not relevant, and perhaps geared to a preset pass rate.
If we (existing surveyors) don't know what the questions are we don't know much at all.

I believe the cut score is generally 50-55% correct answers will be passing.
The pass rate information at the BPELSG site is dated, but in 2017 the pass rate was 22%. I believe this is within the normal range.

There is no specific cutoff score number. Each test is slightly different. (this info is posted on the BPELSG website)
You have to pass each of the 6 sections if I remember right.
Passing statistics up to 2021:

If you are studying for the test, be familiar with the test plan:

Why are you asking, maybe we can answer this a different way?

When I passed in the fall of 1986 it was around 92%. Dropped to 40-50% the next year and hasn't gotten any better since.

When I passed in 2005, the cut score was 177 points out of 397 possible. If you got 45% of the answers correct, you passed.
Isn't 45% usually an F in school?
Only 9% of the test takers passed (46 passed out of 492 who took the test). Graded on a curve, all who passed got A's.
They released that test after a decade or two of not releasing any tests.
'Course, I am pretty sure I got like 360 of the points correct (a true A).

Thanks for posting that, Scott. That's the year that I passed and I didn't know those stats.

It appears they do not give out the cut score anymore.
