Abandoning Private Irrigation Easement

Any ideas as to how to go about abandoning a private irrigation easement?

From the document: “for the benefit of the adjoining properties and all other lands benefitted thereby”.

I am checking a Final Subdivision Map of the parcel encumbered by the easement and they want to abandon it with the map.

The Subdivision does include one of the "adjoining properties" (to the easement), but not all.

If it was me I would seek clarification from a title company as to who the beneficiaries are in the way of a Litigation Guarantee.

If unable to determine I would have an attorney file a Quiet Title Action to extinguish any ghosts.

I was mistaken, it is not a private easement.
There is a "Certificate of Acceptance and Consent to Record" page in the document on which the County accepts the dedication.
It helps if you read the whole document and not just the legal description.
