I hope you all are aware of the new elevation certificate (EC) that is out, but there are many issues with it.
If you are not aware, on August 11, 2023 FEMA has extended the use of the old EC until Nov. 1, 2023
FEMA Elevation Certificate - Extended to Nov 1.pdf
Your welcome!

What are the issues you found Keith? The biggest issue I have discovered so far is finding a filloutable copy of the PDF.
Attached is the new version (split into 2 for file size issues). It actually seems to have improved several areas that were problematic before, IE what is the first floor, and how to document flood openings.

Their quality control before sending out is terrible.
1) You can't type "N/A" in any field
2) Page No.'s
3) Section H is for those who can't perform simple subtraction for items in Section C.
H1 a) Is for Building Diagram 8, not Diag. 9 (The arrow on their form is not clear).
I spoke with someone the the state level and I have more experience then her, so she couldn't answer my questions due to her one training course on EC's
Hopefully they fix this, and with the more complex information, time to raise prices, lol.
