Does anyone know who has the files of:

Robert Martin & Associates
Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors
1143 E. Main Street, Ventura, CA 93001

I received a call from a developer who has recently acquired a property and found a tentative map prepared by the above company in June 1989 on the subject property. He found my number on Google hoping I may have the file, and was the surveyor... Unfortunately for him I am NOT his huckleberry, I was only 4 years old in 1989 and thank God I have never worked South of the most southerly point of Siskiyou County. I did tell the developer that I would reach out to CLSA and see if I could track down anyone who may have access to the 1989 file, or anyone who may be interested in the project. The title on the tentative map is:

I recall referring to this tract map on occasion when in private practice. If the lot is within City of Ojai SOI, suggest contacting the City to see if they have a list of surveyors who regularly submit TM in their jurisdiction. Otherwise, suggest you reach out to Dan.Walsh@ventura.org (County Surveyor) for help. CS Office checks subdivisions maps for quite a few cities in that county and he may have a better idea for you.

Thank you Ric, I will pass the info along to the developer. I do miss working on the exam development, I really do learn a lot through the process!!! I consider it my "continuing education" :) I do intend to start working on it again in the future, after I get a better handle on my current work load.
