FIELD LAND SURVEYOR - CONTRACT POSITION AVAILABLE (Central to Northern CA)

Ambit Consulting has an immediate opening for a Northern California Field Survey Technician – Contract Position. This position works under the direction supervision of our PLS.
We are looking for contract field surveyors with following requirements:
• Familiar with performing topographic, boundary and cellular surveys
• Ability to perform monument recovery in support of a record of survey
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to travel frequently to project sites
• Have your own total station with direct reflect capabilities
• Have your own GPS capability (OPUS or network)
• Quick turnaround time (10 days from NTP)
• Be able to provide equipment calibration information
• Be able to adhere to Ambit field standards
• Some boundary research necessary
• Minimal linework drafting required
• General Liability Insurance and Commercial Auto Insurance is required
