Position Overview:
Join Riverside County’s Flood Control Department as a Surveying Technician I/II in the Right of Way Engineering Section!
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform sub-professional land surveying tasks in field and office settings
• Utilize Autodesk and other software for drafting and preparing Right of Way documents
• Research Riverside County land records and assist with legal survey aspects
• Conduct field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other instruments
• Prepare detailed maps, legal descriptions, and title/property owner research
• Assist with inspection of public works and subdivision projects
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience or coursework in land surveying, CAD, GIS, or related fields
• Technical skills in Autodesk, Bentley, Bluebeam, ArcMap
• Valid Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) certificate is a plus
