What's the oldest LS Tag you have found in the field?

I have found many of JF Davidson, RE 862 2"x2" redwood hubs in the deserts of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties, but, found a lead and tag in Manhatten Beach much older than that. I don't rember the number, but I want to say it was around 150. It is always one of the funnest things of the job!

The first survey job I had was in the early 1960's for C.C. Bonebrake RE 167.

We were setting lot corners with his tags for a Tract in Orange. What an experience!

We are surveying west of San Francisquito Canyon Road and LA County set all of the section corners in the area. RE 62 is the oldest engineer I have seen. LS 1162 is the oldest surveyor
