I have tendered my resignation.

With gratitude for his service to CLSA, I am announcing the resignation of Tom Taylor, CLSA 2013 President-Elect. The CLSA Executive Committee has reluctantly accepted the resignation and has placed this action on the November Board of Directors agenda for ratification. At that time action will be sought to fill the vacant position for the remainder of the year, and the year to come.

The few times I've seen you in action this year at the Board really impressed me and I was sincerely looking forward to your presidency.
Thanks for the excellent presentation on 8771 and the Board's actions in support of education, outreach and coordination with others.

I’m sorry to have missed your visit to the joint meeting with Sonoma County. I heard some real nice comments about you and your common sense approach to resolving problems. I know you would have been a great leader for the organization. I’ve also talked with many people throughout the state about you and how they looked forward to your leadership. You will certainly be missed!

Anyone want to go backpacking?? Now that I have a new (better) tent to replace my old standby I will be planning to get away often. I have lots of stories for the campfire.

I don't think I will be joining you anytime soon.

Resigned? Retired? What the...???

For CLSA and for the profession in general, this comes many years too soon. But if I had my druthers, I'd go backpacking too and keep my involvement with surveying at a hobby level.

Thanks for all you've done for CLSA. Your contributions will be missed.
