The CLSA Executive Committee has reluctantly accepted the resignation and has placed this action on the November Board of Directors agenda for ratification. At that time action will be sought to fill the vacant position for the remainder of the year, and the year to come.

Resigned? Retired? What the...???

For CLSA and for the profession in general, this comes many years too soon. But if I had my druthers, I'd go backpacking too and keep my involvement with surveying at a hobby level.
