Traveling for the holidays, Trying to beat the weather, looks like the north half of the state could be a white Christmas. So to ALL have a good Holiday and if you are traveling, have a safe trip and return, I look forward to our meeting in the new year.

Russ & family.

You beat me to the thread Russ.

I too want to wish everyone, and their families, a Happy Holiday Season and safe travels to those traversing the highways and airways this holiday season!

Came into work this morning. The roads in the foothills have up to a 1" coating of ice.

If you are driving in the foothills or mountains today, drive very carefully and take chains.

Edit: Work now is in a State office in Sacramento 4 days per week. 1 to two days a week at home for Homestead.

So, I take it you didn't ride the bike in today?

I recently saw, in a motorcycle accesories catalog, that one could obtain tire chains for motorcycles.

I would seriously consider it, but I think the grief I would catch at home over it would outweigh the satisfaction of meeting the challenge.

Hopefully I can get back on 2 wheels in a week or two.

Not me. The kids have had too much sugar, and Natasha turns on me when her nerves get frayed from dealing with overly-energetic (and often fighting) kids.

I'll just hide out here and then check on the survivors tonight.
