Is the Clsa website, the
object of this thread, is that where I am now posting, cause if it is, then what is the question regarding the surveyor lookup/ how can I access the "surveyor lookup"?

What seems to be the problem bubblewatcher? For someone that wants to be anonymous, I'm guessing your not a member of CLSA? If you are a member of CLSA, the Surveyor Look Up section is a huge benefit for members, and it works.
If your looking for a surveyor's working region, I would guess if he/she is listed in the Bay Area (Northern CA), they do some traveling to different jobs.
I'm sure there would be a number of surveyors wishing they had enough work in the city they are listed in to only work in that city, but surveying is a traveling occupation.
I know surveyors who travel over an hour to different jobs. So what is the problem/question again?

The total thread count apparently still includes all of the old posts, but they're no longer on the forum.
They are archived, however, and you can access them by clicking on the "Archive" link in the blue banner at the bottom right corner of the page.
If you need to search the archives, you'll have to use "ctrl+F" on each page of the archives, and doing so only searches the topic headings, not the body.

Try typing this in the search field on google (I haven't tried it with other search engines):
adjustment site:http://www.californiasurveyors.org/clsaforum/archive
or substitute your own search term in place of "adjustment". That should get you to what you're looking for.
I hope you don't need to see any attachments though, because those appear to have been stripped from the messages (like the problems and solutions in the professional development area. Can someone repost those?).
