If you are interested in reviewing and commenting on the DRAFT Caltrans specs for total station, stationary terrestrial laser scanning, and mobile terrestrial laser scanning, (Chapter 7 of the Caltrans Survey Manual) drop me an email at: Robert_M_McMillan@dot.ca.gov
