Does anyone know if using the Leica controller is faster at tracking than using an allegro for a TS12P Leica Instrument? I'm used to using an allegro controller with Carlson on it.

I would simply install Carlson on the Leica controller.

Let me know what your thoughts are.

Both Allegro and Leica controller are just receiving information being sent from the instrument (as fast as the instrument hardware can track.)
I highly doubt it would make a difference between the 2 data collectors since tracking is soley based on the instrument hardware.
