Hi Matt,
I appreciated the information that you and Carl provided to all of us and I appreciated the fact that you both believe that the more informed everyone is, the more well thought out the decisions should be.
As a former NSPS member, I can certainly appreciate the value of a federal presence representing the industry and believe it is necessary. However, as someone who has listened to not only you two, but other knowledgeable individuals in the situation (all certainly more knowledgeable than I) including representatives of NSPS directly, I'm having a difficult time with understanding exactly how this leadership and organization is going to perform differently and better than the previous one.
My thoughts are to observe NSPS over the short term while attempting to keep positive that in the long term, it will be a win-win situation for all involved.
