I was working out in sticks on Tuesday with my RTK unit. It seemed to fix right away in the morning but by mid morning I had a horrible time getting a fix... The radio signal was 100%, number of sats and geometry seemed good enough. But seemed to take forever to get a fix, and when it had one, it wouldn't hold it.
Did anyone else have any problems, I'm suspicious that there was something going on that I was not aware of. FYI this was in extreme northern CA.
Thanks, I really do appreciate any input.

FAA GPS testing . . .
You might wish to check NOTAMS (below link) before heading to field . . . as the FAA does GPS testing and gives Notices to Airman of a particular testing areas (with radius, altitudes, etc.) as potentially unreliable.

PS I don't know if they have "archival" NOTAMS that you may go back in time to see if such testing was done on the day you were having problems.

There are a number of them out there, but here are a couple of the more useful ones:How would I check the "SPACE Weather"? Is there a website I can check?
