Below is a portion of a legal description. I have never seen such a thing. There is no basis of bearings in this description. The description is reported to have been created in the last 8 years. It looks like it is an inverse of way points. Any thoughts welcomed.

S. 151 degrees 09 minutes 37 seconds E. 187.094 feet, S. 187 degrees 44 minutes, 53 seconds W. 939.691 feet, S. 212 degrees 57 minutes 49 seconds W. 495.585 feet

Yeah. Seems like azimuths to me. The directions before and after match the direction the bearing would have if the azimuths were converted to bearings.

Looks like Azimuths to me too. If you convert the AZ to bearings the SE and SW listed also work.

The distances seem to indicate an engineer or some other uneducated person wrote this.

must have been using top dollar field equipment and lots of time to utilize the methods necessary to report distances to 0.001'. Wished I had that kind of budget.

Azimuths, and it looks like it was created as an export of an electronic field book or a report derived from a CAD software package.
