OC Public Works Department has an excellent opportunity for a Survey Instrumentman to perform specialized field survey work while operating field instruments and providing technical instruction to team members. Assignments require considerable experience and knowledge, where duties are performed with considerable independence. Incumbents in this class are responsible for coordinating the activities of the other survey party members, reading survey instruments, taking notes, and acting as Survey Party Chief in the Chief's absence.
