End of the Great Basin College Surveying Program

I don't know if anyone caught a posting recently on the Land Surveying Program at Great Basin College in Elko, NV. Pretty sad to see this program go. Below is a link to the discussion on Surveyor Connect:

It would be great to transform or add an online component to the Fresno State Geomatics Land Surveying Program.

This isn't the first time I have heard this. That was several years ago. Apparently they hung around for a while.

Bummer. That would be a great place for a young surveyor to attend and get an appreciation for the great outdoors.
