RRM Design Group is a design firm with offices and exciting projects throughout California. Headquartered in San Luis Obispo since 1974, our recognized expertise has allowed us to pursue projects throughout California and beyond. We are looking for a qualified supervisor of surveying in our San Luis Obispo office.
The supervisor of surveying is expected to provide management for public and private land development projects and will include scheduling, managing project budgets, client communication, overall project design, staff mentoring, and overseeing AutoCAD and design work of staff. Business development and project management duties include soliciting work with new and existing clients, writing proposals and conducting interviews, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and maintaining communications with clients. The position also involves overseeing quality control and ensuring compliance within each project scope.
The qualified candidate will be expected to have expertise in design and calculations for drainage facilities, grading, street improvements, water, sewer and storm drain systems.
The requirements for this position include:
• BA/BS in surveying or related field (required or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience
• Professional Land Surveyor’s license
• Valid California driver’s license
