I have not committed as of yet, but thinking of traversing southerly to the upcoming CLSA Conference and the Scholarship Golf Tournament. I am curious if any of you know of a threesome looking for a fourth player?

I signed up as a single player, but I will not help a team win in any way whatsoever! Beware to those who end up with me on your team.

I did the 'single ' player sign-up in 2007 when we played at Rancho Bernardo. I ended up being the 3rd man of a 3-man scramble team. Won $50 for 1st place. So having a small team or letting them team you up is not always a bad thing!

has the advantage over of 4 man scramble if the 3 man team gets four shots from the tee box, four shots from the fairway and four puts on the green. And this is how it is normally played, from what i have seen.

one guy in the threesome gets a "do over" one every shot on each hole. I know, been there, done that.

Give me a do over every 4 holes on every shot, and it does make a huuuuuggggggeeeeee difference.
