Trimble Survey Pro issue

Post by MikeTurnrose »

I have an older Ranger that uses the 2002 version of Survey Pro. I've noticed for quite some time with this software that when I perform a repetition shot with my TS for establishing a CP or shooting a mon., the software gives the point number a different code than what I inputted after uploading the data to a PC. For instance, you input a code like FD 3/4" LS 7454 and when I upload it gives a code like EP or something else. The funny thing is after recording such shots in the field, I'll go in to the point editor and view it and it shows the correct code. It's only through the data transfer process that this occurs. For a while, I thought I was losing my mind with this, but now I'm convinced that it's a software issue. It only does this with repetition shots, not the traverse/side shots like with topo points. Now with those same repetition shots, the elevations it calculates, the software gives it 0.00, even though in the DC it shows a correct Elev. Anyone know how to fix this besides getting a software upgrade or a new DC? Thanks.
