Found Topcon GTS3B

Found Topcon GTS3B in Santa Rosa, CA on Occidental Rd. near Fulton Rd. This instrument was drooped off at my office by a resident in the area who is trying to locate the owner. Apparently he found it laying on the side of the road the week of July 7. Please Contact me for more details. see pictures

who services Topcon? Maybe they would have a reference by the serial #..

If it is from Santa Rosa, likely Chuck Madrid sold it. I've forwarded this to Gary Ochsner at ESD. Hopefully they'll have something...

It probably fell off someone's boat when they pulled over on the highway to fix the anchor.

Hey now that's the gun I use! Very solid and very accurate/precise for boundary work. Let me know if you can't track down an owner or if that owner wants to sell. I will be willing to purchase it. One of the digital readouts on my instrument went out. RMLAND if you want to sell me yours i would be interested.

Is it still near Piezzi Road in Sebastopol? Just around the corner from my place
If so I will "purchase" it from him in case someone claims it before it gets "lost" and "found" again.

Book end, paper weight, boat anchor, whatever you call it. Was it stolen? Shouldn't you let the rightful owner determine its fate?

just because its old and "outdated" it still turns angles and measures a distance. Which is still what all total stations do today.
