Services for Hal Davis - August 23rd

The service with reception to follow will be at 2 pm on Saturday, August 23, at the San Leandro United Methodist Church at 1600 Bancroft Avenue, telephone number 510-483-0606.

The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the CLSA Education Foundation which will be setting up a Hal Davis Memorial Scholarship.

Just a reminder for anybody who wanted to attend, the Celebration of Life for Hal is this Saturday at 2pm.

The memorial very nice was well supported by land surveyors from across the state. If you attended, you may still be smiling and wondering why Hal wanted to sing at his own services . . . and he did!

I couldnâ€™t agree with Keith more, it was outstanding to see so many people there to remember Hal. He left a wonderful family with many extended members supporting each other. Hal has to be smiling down.

I had planned on attending but was unable to do so because of my recent accident. I remember attending Hal's retirement and hearing his daughters sing. I will miss him.
