"We encourage lively discussion and debate but remember that disagreeing with an idea is different from attacking an individual. In that spirit, do not post messages that contain personal attacks against other individuals, including CLSA members, officers, or staff. Messages and materials that are defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal are strictly prohibited. Do not post anything on the CLSA Discussion Board that you would not want made public or that you would not want anyone to know came from you."

Over the past few days I have found Mr. Myron's posts to be a personal attack on a number of other members of the forum. His posts contain messages that are abusive and offensive at times. I would hope that the forum administrators will take the appropriate actions to explain to Mr. Myford that although this is an open forum to discuss the topics of Land Surveying, we must still at as professionals and provide respect.

Who is Stan Myron and where's he from?

I can't find him in the Board's license lookup, so he's probably not licensed. The three Myron listed are either cancelled or deceased.

Stan seems rather hostile, but should he have his hands slapped? Probably not if we are to have an open forum. Oh wait, we really don't have a true open forum even now, do we?

Exactly my point, but even if it was an open forum, I think Mr. Myron has gone a little far in a few of his posts. There is no need for him to ask someone "what is up their ass" or launch a personal attack against another forum member.

That being said, you all should be happy to hear that your Central Office did make contact reminding me of the forum rules and professional decorum.

Questions I have for the rest of you. How come no one has ever called out mpallamary for make false accusations against CLSA's executive director?

Doesn't that also conflict with the forum rules? Or does the executive director not deserve the same level of respect as your fellow members?
Mr. Myron,

Mr. Pallamary has not made any statements which attack an individual. With that, Mr. Pallamary has not posted messages that contain personal attacks against other individuals, including CLSA members, officers, or staff. His messages have not been defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal.

Mr. Pallamary is simply disagreeing with the Executive Director. In reading Mr. Pallamary's posts, none say anything unprofessional.

I ask that you kindly provide your background and what brought you to the forum, I know there are a few of us who are interested, including myself.

I have been following Mr. Myron's posting and found the observations to be spot on. Perhaps a little "party chief" language may be coming through, but nothing out of line.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to that. I however have found his posts to be a little over the top at times. There is no need to use some of the colorful language and phrases he has used on a professional forum, especially when the rules clearly state not to do things like that.

ROTFLMAO
Defund govt
To fully fund govt first the national debt would have to be paid. The US Govt is $18 TRILLION in debt, using 350 million people in the USA it would require $51,000 from every man, woman and child to pay it off. And that's just the Federal debt. Did you write your check yet?
