Searching for Party Chief Land Surveyor Position

We are a Land Surveying Firm in Santa Clarita that is hard working, fast paced and service oriented that still finds time for fun and family. We provide the ultimate surveying service experience and extraordinary results for our Southern California clients. Responsibilities:
• Perform both field and office surveying operations
• Perform various levels of survey calculations
• Leadership role of survey field crew
• Coordinate with and assist survey Project Managers
• Perform all types of survey projects such as: Construction, ALTA, Topography, Boundary, Control, Subdivision, Monitor, Detail as-built mapping, etc.
• Use manual and robot total stations, GPS, data collection, various surveying software, AutoCAD, etc.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years working surveyor experience
• LSIT preferred
• Education helpful
Skills Necessary:
• Must be proficient with today’s standard surveying field equipment (total station, GPS, data collector, level, etc.)
• AutoCAD skills are preferred (we use Civil 3D)
• Must have leadership skills or leadership potential
• Must be able to get along well with others on our team
• Must be able to correspond and connect well with our clients and fellow consultants
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced atmosphere and multi-task
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering plans and construction documents
• Must be able and comfortable performing field survey tasks
Compensation:
• Will be determined based on surveyor and leadership abilities
• We are looking for a career minded individual who would like a place to call home for a long time to come. This is NOT a temporary position.
