Just Stolen

FYI-Someone just stole (1pm on December 31st) Survey equipment from my truck. I was making a stop on the way home and they broke in the side window. They made off with a 2014 TS-15 1" instrument, CS-15 data collector, an I Rover unit and a set of glass, or about $50,000.00 in equipment. Just a heads up to the community in case the douche bag tries to sell any of this stuff to a surveyor (some people are that stupid)...

I don't think they knew what they were stealing. This was at a mall during Christmas Returns Theft Season. (And no, I don't know what I was thinking...)

Checking pawn shops, EBay, Craigslist, Swap meets, etc...Was surprised to find out pawn shops are not required to check if items like this have been reported stolen. Is it the same with guns???
