Required Qualifications PLS license in the state of California, excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microsoft Office, and valid CA driver license. 10 years of experience in both field and office experience. Excellent working knowledge and practical experience in performing GPS, geodetic surveys and surveying and mapping methods. Physical ability to perform field surveying on a variety of sites, rough terrain, working in high traffic situations, and be able to physically lift and carry equipment. Proficient both written and verbal in English. Knowledge of Trimble Business Center and Star Net is preferred.
Job Description We are seeking a LAND SURVEY PROJECT MANAGER to assist in managing our existing contracts as well as assist obtaining new contracts. Qualified candidates should be experienced in the management, execution and delivery of projects, as well as having a demonstrated background in sophisticated proposal preparation, interview skills, strategic planning, and supervision of staff; an excellent reputation in the profession, and a proven history of strong client relationships. Candidates must have the ability to independently complete field to office tasks with demonstrated expertise in standard survey equipment; have strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to work with diverse groups; and effectively mentor staff along the way. Candidate should be able to handle all aspects of product development from the initial project research to the final CADD mapping.
