Your clients will include Affordable Housing Developers and Operators, Local Public Agencies, Water Districts and Transportation agencies.[/font]
[font=&quot]Essential Responsibilities[/font][font=&quot][/font]
[font=&quot]· Determine right of way impacts on properties;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Prepare exhibits and maps to support the plan review process;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Perform title research;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Prepare and review legal descriptions and plat maps;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Review of vesting deeds and easement documentation;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Review of acquisition documents with respect to construction trades and practices;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Review of Caltrans right of way acquisition maps;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Mapping through AutoCAD/ Civil3D/ Microstation;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Preparation of Estimates for construction and land valuation;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Technical document preparation[/font]
[font=&quot]Skills and Knowledge[/font][font=&quot][/font]
[font=&quot]· Moderate understanding of right of way, property boundary, and easement principles with respect to Caltrans requirements and Brown / Robillard / Wilson literature;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Moderate understanding of subdivision mapping and mapping closures;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Basic to moderate understanding of title research;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Moderate understanding of Roadway and Transportation Design with respect to Caltrans and Orange County requirements;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Moderate understanding of the land development design and entitlement process;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Moderate understanding of AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microstation software;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Excellent verbal and written ability, interpersonal attitude, and organizational habits;[/font]
[font=&quot]· Understanding Improvement Plans and Mapping Procedures[/font]
[font=&quot]· Understanding of Microsoft Access Software a plus[/font]
[font=&quot]Experience and Education[/font][font=&quot][/font]
[font=&quot]· College Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics Engineering or Civil Engineering preferred.[/font]
[font=&quot]· 5 years experience within the Public Works Construction Management/Design, Land Development Design, Right of Way Engineering, or Surveying required.[/font]
[font=&quot]Designations/ Licenses[/font][font=&quot][/font]
[font=&quot]· Possession of a California Professional Land Surveyor License (PLS) or Civil Engineering License (PE) a plus.[/font]
