Approximate Monthly Salary: $8,821.80 - $9,726.60


There is an additional 3.35% Management Differential which is added to the posted salary for this class.

Under direction, the Senior Land Surveyor plans, organizes, assigns, and oversees the work of surveyors, surveying/engineering, map checking and other staff. Incumbents also manage employees who perform land and engineering surveying for the design and construction of roads, highways and bridges, drainage, sewage facilities and other County projects, map checking, mapping and drafting and description of real property.


Minimum Qualifications

Either: 1. Three years of full-time experience in Sacramento County service in the class of Associate Land Surveyor.

Or: 2. Three years of full-time experience performing supervisory duties at a licensed level which have included difficult and complex land and engineering surveying projects.
