HOURLY SURVEY TECHNICIAN
$23.56 - $31.18/hour

The City of Santa Barbara is seeking a full-time, Hourly (temporary) Survey Technician at either a Tech I or Tech II level (DOE) for a long term assignment. You will be working with sophisticated surveying equipment in an environment that encourages professional and personal development. We are looking for a versatile addition to our small progressive survey group. Well rounded field experience including robotic total stations, data collectors, and GPS gear is required, an understanding of mapping software (ESRI and Civil 3D) is also desired, as is some exposure to post-processing and traverse adjusting software, particularly, least squares adjustment concepts.

Personal computer skills are highly desired, including a basic understanding of MS Excel and MS Word. Hourly positions with the City are limited in time duration and are not permanent positions.
