DEA’s Santa Clarita, CA office is looking to hire a current Local 12 Union Party Chief. The responsibilities for this position will be diverse and will include managing a survey crew performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right of way, and construction surveys for public and private clients. Other responsibilities will include performing calculations, note keeping, and working with DEA staff and clients on these projects. Direct the crewmembers in the performance of their duties and mentor and coach them to advance within the survey profession as their individual abilities allow.
Basic Qualifications:
• Member in good standing with the Local 12 Union
• Professional Licensed Surveyor in California is preferred
• Project experience with CALTRANS and transportation projects is a plus
• Valid California Driver's license required
** This position is at the Union designation and would be at the Union pay scale.
