It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Bob Hart.

In addition to serving as Chairman of the Exam Guide Committee and being a long-time Director on the CLSA Education Foundation, Bob served as President of CLSA in 2004 and received the CLSA Distinguished Service Award in 2009.

Bob passed away on June 14th. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Los Osos Cemetery, 2260 Los Osos Valley Road, Los Osos, CA. Afterwards, a celebration of life gathering will be held at the San Luis Obispo Elk’s Lodge, 222 Elks Lane, San Luis Obispo, CA.

So sorry to hear about Bob, he was a great one. Always giving up his time to help others and promote the profession. He will truly be missed, but not forgotten.

Thank you for this nice post and the kind words. I am going to the funeral today and will pass this along to his wife. Sadly, the pictures posted here don't represent the Bob that I knew. I met him through his wife just a few years ago after his Alzheimer's had set in. It is such a terrible disease that takes people away from themselves and their families at way too early of an age.
